The following backends are also available:\n\n* [shariff-backend-php](https://github.com/heiseonline/shariff-backend-php)\n* [shariff-backend-perl](https://github.com/heiseonline/shariff-backend-perl)\n\nThe frontend is available here:\n\n* [shariff](https://github.com/heiseonline/shariff)\n\n## Installing the Shariff backend on you own server\n\n### Option 1: Run the standalone server\n\nCreate a project folder and install the Shariff server using `npm`:\n\n```sh\n$ mkdir my-shariff-server\n$ cd my-shariff-server\n$ npm init\n$ npm install --save shariff-backend-node\n```\n\nThe node package contains a configuration file `shariff.json`.
