Cancelling the prompt\nsurfaces the standard load-failure state and dispatches `pdf-viewer:load-failed`.\n\nEncrypted documents open in **read-only mode**: annotation tools are disabled,\nexisting annotations are not loaded, and the download button delivers the\noriginal file instead of an annotated copy (pdf-lib cannot open encrypted PDFs\nto embed annotations).
