Version 1.0 — 17 September 2026

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. OWNERSHIP
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUPERPRINT (the "Software") — including its source code, HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
documentation, design, user interface, graphics, text, templates, asset library,
the native .sp project format, the SP213 AI studio and the SuperTyPo font editor,
and any accompanying material — is the exclusive property of Simon Dupont-Gellert
/ Zigmoon (the "Author").

The Software is protected by copyright law and by international copyright
treaties. All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved by the
Author.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. WHAT YOU MAY DO
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject to full compliance with this license, you are granted a personal,
non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to:

  (a) use the hosted web application at https://superprint.cc (and its
      sub-paths) through a web browser, for your own personal or professional
      page layout, prepress and print work;

  (b) run the application locally through its official npm launcher
      ("npx superprint") and install it as an offline PWA;

  (c) create, save, export and print the documents you produce with the
      Software, and sell what you print. You own your own documents, your own
      images, your own fonts, your own templates and your own PDF / PNG / JPG
      exports — this license claims no rights over them;

  (d) keep a copy of the Software for backup purposes only, if that copy is
      not used, published or distributed.

This is a license to USE the Software, not a sale of the Software.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Without the prior written permission of the Author, you may NOT:

  (a) copy, publish, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, lend or
      otherwise make the Software, or any part of it, available to any third
      party — including sharing the application files, the release archive or
      the launcher;

  (b) modify, adapt, translate, transform or create derivative works based on
      the Software, in whole or in part;

  (c) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, or attempt to
      derive its source code, except to the extent such restriction is
      expressly prohibited by applicable law;

  (d) remove, hide, alter or circumvent any copyright notice, author
      attribution, branding, logo, version identifier or technical protection
      measure contained in the Software;

  (e) reuse the Software, or any part of it — its code, its templates or its
      asset library — to build, train, fine-tune or improve another product,
      service, model or application that competes with, replaces or reproduces
      the functionality of the Software, including any AI or machine-learning
      model;

  (f) host, mirror, embed or redistribute the Software (or a modified version
      of it) on any website, application store, repository, package registry or
      network, whether free of charge or not;

  (g) use the names "SUPERPRINT", "SuperPrint", "SP213", "SuperTyPo", "Studio
      IA", the "2.13" name, the "Zigmoon" name, or any associated logo, icon or
      visual identity, in a way that suggests an official affiliation,
      endorsement or origin that does not exist;

  (h) claim authorship of the Software, or present it as your own work, in
      whole or in part.

Running in a web browser makes the source code readable. That readability is a
consequence of the technology, not a grant of rights: it does NOT place the
Software in the public domain and does NOT make it open source. Publishing the
source code in a public repository does NOT grant any right beyond those
expressly listed in section 2.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. COMMERCIAL AND CUSTOM USE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any use not expressly granted in section 2 — including commercial
redistribution, integration into a paid product or service, white-labelling,
self-hosting for third parties, or a customized build — requires a separate
written agreement with the Author.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Software includes third-party libraries and resources distributed under
their own licenses, in particular:

  - Fabric.js (canvas engine), pdf-lib and pdf.js (PDF), JSZip (archives),
    Mammoth (Word import), SheetJS (Excel import), WebLLM (local models);
  - Little CMS / lcms-wasm (ICC colour management), under its own license;
  - the bundled fonts and the Pantone ink names, under their respective
    licenses and trademarks.

Those components remain governed by their own licenses, which prevail over this
license for the parts they cover. Nothing in this license restricts your rights
under those licenses, and the Open Source Initiative licenses that apply to
those components are not affected in any way.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. NO WARRANTY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Author does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted,
secure, or that it will meet your requirements, and does not warrant that a
document, a colour conversion or an exported file will be fit for a particular
printing process. You use the Software at your own risk and remain solely
responsible for the documents you compose, print and publish — in particular for
checking bleed, colour separation, ink limits and the prepress requirements of
your printer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE
DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, DOCUMENTS, PROFITS, REVENUE, PRODUCTION OR
GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE,
THE SOFTWARE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under
applicable law.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. TERMINATION
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically and
immediately if you breach any of its terms. On termination you must stop all use
of the Software and destroy any copy in your possession. Sections 3, 6, 7, 9
and 10 survive termination.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. GOVERNING LAW
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This license is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its
interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the
French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that
may apply in your country of residence.
