Then merge and push\nvalidated consumer source to `main`, publish exact commits bottom-up, pin exact\nregistry versions and lockfiles, repeat affected local gates, and only then\npromote to staging. Never commit a local package reference or tarball.\n\n\n## Animal Individual Organization identity\n\nAn animal is the first member of its own Individual Organization, so\n`Organization.member.role` is always the HL7 code `ONESELF`. The authenticated\nhuman that creates it is `Organization.owner`, the controller by default;\n`RESPRSN` must never be copied into the animal member.\n\nUsual name, birth date, exact NCBI species and optional breed are animal\ndemographics. The usual name may be supplied by the controller or generated as\na pronounceable species ordinal such as `Dog 1`; it is not identity evidence.\nBreed remains separate descriptive text. Controller-authored\ndemographics remain editable until a veterinarian attests them; attestation\ndoes not rewrite the original author, and later correction creates a new\nveterinarian-authored version.\n\nUse `buildVetChainAnimalDraftClaims(...)` while the generated/supplied usual name, exact NCBI species or\npublic Card is missing. Only a draft for which\n`readVetChainAnimalOnboardingReadiness(...)` returns `ready: true` may be\nactivated and issued a Card. It adds no copied FHIR claims or animal-only transport\nstate. Vet portals and channel services apply animal authorization and use this\nhigh-level entrypoint before persistence through GW VET.\n\n`vet-sdk-core-ts/health-dcat` provides the neutral manager for tenant-owned\nHealthDCAT metadata. It publishes and searches claims-first resources, asks an\nICA adapter for host catalogue capabilities, and sends explicit controller\nfederation requests. GW authentication, OpenID Federation trust resolution,\nOpenID4VP verification and Dataspace Protocol exchange stay in injected\ntransports; the SDK neither exposes tenant inventories through ICA nor treats\nthe host as the tenant publisher.\nStudy publication writes the derived Dataset and its `CatalogRecord` together.\nWithdrawal updates only that record to `archived`; it does not delete or alter\nthe ResearchStudy, eligibility/team Groups, ResearchSubjects or data-access\nclassification.\n\n## Veterinary scheduling bundles\n\nThe `vet-sdk-core-ts/scheduling` entrypoint extends the generic GW bundle\nboundary without changing `gdc-*`. It builds claims-first JSON:API batches,\nreads canonical `body.data[].resource` search matches and reconciles removed\noccupied Slots as pending Appointments plus durable rescheduling\nCommunications. The same product extension can later be promoted for SOSChain\nor UHC/UNID after their resource policy is defined.\n\n## Veterinary health-card issuance\n\n`issueVeterinaryHealthCardCredential(...)` accepts only an authoritative\nreadback Bundle, creates the standard ES256 SHC signing input, and asks each\nattester for an independent RFC 7797 ML-DSA proof over the exact uncompressed\npayload. `pqcQr.qrCount` configures the number of numeric companion labels; it\ndefaults to two and never copies the payload into those labels.\n\nThe result contains printable vaccination data plus both\n`payloadReferences.multihashUrn` for an exact blockchain-index lookup and\n`payloadReferences.cidV1` for content-addressed retrieval. The issuer supplies\nthe validity interval explicitly; FHIR `Immunization.expirationDate` remains\nthe vaccine-batch expiry.\n\n`pqcProofLookupReference` is separate: it hashes the exact compact SHC JWS so\n`publishVeterinaryHealthCardPqcProofs(...)` and\n`resolveVeterinaryHealthCardPqcProofs(...)` can use a product ledger/resolver\nto retrieve the unchanged detached `pqc:/` proofs from a single printed SHC\nQR when online. It does not replace the offline companion QR labels.\n\n## Private clinic documents and index projection\n\n`sealVeterinarySecureClinicMessage(...)` signs the complete FHIR Bundle\ndocument with ML-DSA-44 and encrypts it to the clinic/controller endpoint with\nML-KEM-768 plus AES-256-GCM. Its separate index projection contains only each\nsource `fullUrl` and the server-policy allowlisted `resource.meta.tag[]`\ncodings. Every coding system must be the concrete\n`<ResourceType>.<search-parameter-or-custom>` key; repeated values become one\nCSV flat claim. The GW never receives the encrypted message or private Bundle.\n\n## USDC payment quotes\n\n`vet-sdk-core-ts/payment` separates the payment provider, asset and EVM network\ninstead of treating every token named USDC as equivalent. It pins Circle USDC\non Base Sepolia and Base mainnet, validates the server-authored recipient,\ninteger six-decimal amount and expiry, and keeps mainnet disabled unless the\ncaller supplies a separately approved release policy. Local Anvil deployments\nprovide their deployed mock-token contract through the same network contract;\nthey never reuse a production address.\n\nThe quote authorizes no payment by itself. A server payment adapter must still\nverify the receipt, Transfer log, payer, recipient, amount, confirmation depth,\ninvoice state and transaction-hash idempotency before reconciling the payment.\n\n## Research studies\n\n`buildVeterinaryResearchStudyCreateWorkflowIds` accepts a client-generated\noperation UUID and the exact `PractitionerRole/...` references. It reuses the\noperation UUID as `researchStudyId` and deterministically derives distinct\nUUIDv5 values for the Group and every Communication/draft Consent pair. A\nretry therefore addresses the same resources and a partially completed saga\ncan resume safely. Stable identifiers do not make separate service calls\natomic and confer no membership, Consent or SMART authority.\n\n`buildVeterinaryResearchStudyCreateEntry` accepts ResearchStudy business data\nand projects it into the canonical JSON:API resource object: `resourceType`,\n`id` and flat `resource.meta.claims`. It does not send native `status`, `title`,\n`associatedParty` or `recruitment` objects to GW. Associated parties use one\nindependent flat-claim PATCH entry per party, so references, roles, periods and\nclassifiers cannot be mixed across employees. Every POST is fixed to `active`, `permit`,\n`HRESCH`, one `PractitionerRole`, its ISCO-08 role, and that same exact\nResearchStudy scope. The API does not accept caller-authored actions, so it\ncannot be broadened to delete.\n\n`buildVeterinaryResearchStudyPartyInvitations` creates exactly one claims-only\n`Communication` per associated `PractitionerRole`. The service returns a\nclosed NCBI candidate set, which must pass\n`validateVetChainSpeciesTerminologyCandidates`; a model such as Gemma may rank\nthat set but cannot add codes. `selectVetChainSpeciesTerminologyCandidate`\naccepts only a code actually returned for user review and confirmation.\n\nCurrent cards are issued with `issueVetChainAnimalCard`: five jurisdiction\ndigits plus `animalNumericId15 + checkDigit1`, and the matching\n`did:web:{host}:card:vetchain:{jurisdiction5}:{animal16}`.
